Traditional Decorative Lighting
We work with a tremendously wide range of different designers and manufacturers to specify exactly the right fittings for each project. We look for excellent quality, good value (which doesn’t mean cheap), unusual and elegant design, and technical performance. Below are a few of our favourite brands and fittings. As the delineation between traditional and contemporary is quite subjective (and some brands have a diverse range of designs) we would recommend also having a look under the ‘Traditional Contemporary’ range as well to get a flavour of other types of fittings which we use and can supply.
Anna Lari and Co is a dedicated family run business founded in 1966 in
Their design philosophy follows clean shapes and minimalist lines responding to the current design and colour trends.
Besselink and Jones have a portfolio of classic and very well made fittings for the more traditional interior. They do wonderful library lights, floor lights and chandeliers.
As well as lighting they also design furniture, mirrors and textiles.
Bella Figura have a vast range of both traditional and contemporary high quality lighting.
They are working with a wide range of designers to constantly bring out fresh and striking new fittings to add to their more traditional portfolio.
Porta Romana make beautiful, elegant and interesting designs which suit both a contemporary and a traditional interior. There is often an element of fun and quirkiness!
As well as lighting they also design furniture and mirrors.
Best and Lloyd have been designing lighting since 1840.
They now work in collaboration with leading designers such as Emily Todhunter and Anthony Critchlow to produce beautiful, timeless pieces.
