Digital Projection International (DPI), Texas Instruments’ first DLP® partner and the original innovator of the 3-chip DLP® projector, proudly introduces the new HIGHlite Cine 260, a high brightness 1080p platform with the imaging fidelity of Texas Instruments’ DLP® technology. The 3-chip HIGHlite Cine 260 adds a remarkably affordable, high-lumen line of 1920 x 1080 displays to DPI’s already extensive 3-chip product line.
The Grand Cinema™ C3X LUMIS projectors, latest addition to SIM2’s award-winning Grand Cinema™ C3X series, are totally unique to SIM2 and represent the culmination of 10 years of innovation and research in the fiels of video projector design and technology.
The Grand Cinema™ C3X LUMIS projector achieves extraordinary picture quality through the partnership of the latest 0,95" 1080p DC4 DLP® chipset from Texas Instruments, the precision optics of SIM2’s ALPHAPATH™ light engine, and DynamicBlack™ technology.
No other projector technology can match the superb color depth, excellent contrast ratio (up to 35.000:1) and exceptional brightness (3000 Ansi Lumens) that the Grand Cinema™ C3X LUMIS is able to deliver.
Grand Cinema™ C3X LUMIS combines DynamicBlack™ technology with the world-renowned technical expertise of SIM2’s R&D design team to achieve increased contrast and black level performance from this new projector. This improved black level performance enables the C3X LUMIS to produce images that contain the maximum amount of detail possible in dark scenes without compromising black level or the excellent dynamic range available from DLP technology.
ColorMax™ calibration capabilities including enhanced seven-point color correction for broader color space and accurate color alignment. Sealed optics, user selectable Xenon color mode and lamp life up to 3000 hours make the TITAN well suited for command and control, visualization, business and educational venues.
Digital Projection has followed up the announcement of its range of 3D projectors with the launch of 14 models across its iVision, TITAN and LIGHTNING ranges. We've seen the TITANs running at Digital Projection's global HQ and the output is truly stunning. 3D Home Cinema is a reality today.
The new TITAN 3D product range is comprised of eight distinct projectors. All eight units feature Texas Instruments’ three-chip DLP technology with fast transit pixels for smooth grayscale and improved contrast. In the 3D configuration, the award winning TITAN chassis houses DPI’s wide bandwidth active 3D electronics, which support sources running up to 120 Hz vertical refresh rate. The TITAN 3D models are available with either SXGA+ (1400 x 1050) or 1080p (1920 x 1080) native resolution. Both the native SXGA+ and 1080p platforms are offered as either dual or single lamp models, and each of the two lamp configurations can be further ordered as a High-Brightness or Ultra-Contrast configuration. When all 8 models are considered in total, the TITAN 3D product line presents a comprehensive array of active 3D display options, with brightness up to 9,000 ANSI lumens and a contrast ratio up to a spectacular 5000:1.

COMPACT 3-CHIP DLP™-BASED LIGHT ENGINE BY SIM2 The core and most critical component in a Home Cinema Front Projection unit has always been its light engine. Image accuracy of a projector is governed by the quality of this piece of precision optical engineering. A delicate balance is required between light engine, DLP™ chipset and control electronics, in order to optimize the performance of each.
Building on its heritage of high-end light engine design, SIM2 developed a new innovative system to re-size the illumination optical path whilst maintaining BOTH its length (necessary for correct picture aberration control) AND its compactness (required for installation and interior-design constraints).
This folded light path, patented and named ALPHA Path™, is the result of SIM2's advanced R&D optical and thermal analysis. Perfect management of the internal light path, without any kind of scattering or thermal dispersion, is achieved by utilizing a special coating on the inner surface, together with the prisms' TIR (Total Internal Reflection) control and optimized Relay Optics. SIM2 customized optical components: lenses and prisms. This combination defines the amazing contrast ratio achieved by the C3X.
