Brilliant was established in 2003 by Melanie and Iain Shaw to provide  technology and lighting design services for the residential market.

Since 2003, the scope of what we do has extended.  Brilliant is now one of the leading Custom Installation, Lighting and Interior Design companies in the UK.  

We design and build fabulous Home Cinemas and develop powerful, easy to control home control systems that give our clients multiroom audio and video, heating control, security integration, data networking and communications.

We design stunning lighting schemes which are complemented by sophisticated, yet easy to use lighting control systems. The introduction of a full interior design service in 2008 means we can provide a complete solution combinining advanced technology and design with great aesthetics.

We don't have a 'house style' - each project and each client brief is unique.  Our projects include listed Georgian country houses, very modern new builds and super yachts.  The only common themes running through are a no-nonsense approach, real attention to detail, a focus on the client and excellent design.
