This mezzanine is a great example of how the restrictions of a space helped to shape the design process and create a bespoke interior solution.  The client wanted a comfortable chill out zone for the children, with space for a TV, storage for gaming equipment and toys.   The mezzanine was above a games room which had some strong interior colours and space was tight, not just on the floor but also due to the pitched ceiling.

Every element within this design has been carefully considered:  the sofa was designed to a specific height and size so that we could maximise seating and maximise the head height.  The funky hexagon shelves placed on the back wall create visual interest, an injection of colour and an element of fun to the design.   A low storage design with wrap around drawers serves the dual purpose of providing a shelf to display lighting & objects as well as a neat solution to enclosed storage space.
