Amina Technologies Ltd was formed in 1999 and is now the world’s leading supplier of totally invisible loudspeaker solutions. The head office is in the UK with a sales office in the US and distribution partners throughout the world.
Using Distributed Mode Loudspeaker (DML) technology, Amina has developed a range of invisible loudspeakers suitable for both residential and commercial applications. These products are now used in stunning projects across every continent.
Amina’s design and manufacturing headquarters are located in Huntingdon Cambridgeshire, the heart of the UK’s high technology audio belt. With the imagination and engineering skills of a young, growing technology company and access to locally based aerospace panel experts, Amina is perfectly located to continue to bring innovative solutions to this rapidly growing market.
Amina works closely with its industry partners (distributors, customer installation specialists and acoustical consultants) to provide aesthetically stunning audio solutions for end users. It is not only these partners and industry specialists that are excited by the product but also architects, interior designers and other design conscious specifiers. The dispersive nature of Distributed Mode Loudspeakers enables them to be used effectively in challenging situations such as the highly acoustically reflective spaces found in many modern buildings and open plan environments.

This TV room with a 60" Pioneer plasma benefits from a powerful and discreet 5.1 Amina speaker system.

This living room at the heart of a South Yorkshire Country House features a 5.1 Amina system with 5 AIW80 Amina plaster in-wall speakers.
The system is in daily use with multiroom audio and DVD coming from the Kaleidescape System plus Sky+ HD and DAB radio. Amina speakers mean our clients can have great audio and nothing visible to detract from the elegant interior.
This North London Kitchen / Dining room demonstrates the flexibility of Amina as a solution for Custom Installation problems. The ground floor of this beautiful open-plan house is supplied with audio throughout using ceiling speakers. Our client wanted audio for the large dining area in the conservatory but since the room is almost entirely glass, conventional ceiling speakers weren't an option.
Amina offer a variety of installation options; they produce a very diffusive sound and can be mounted in either ceilings or walls and remain totally hidden. In this installation we used the small amount of wall space available to us to install an array of twin voice Amina models. Additional bass punch comes from an in-ceiling Speakercraft sub.
The result is great audio for a large family space.
