MS5000 is a 5 output system providing 1 high quality combined music and video AV output with an integrated navigational TV GUI and 4 additional fully independent audiophile music outputs with separate navigation TV GUI.

Integration with AMX builds on the work done on the Imerge S3000 audio server. Full text searching via touchpanels has been added for both audio and video content and the interface has been refined to give greater control over media on the system.

The system allows storage for many hundreds of DVDs on a Kaleidescape Server which can then be played back in different rooms by a networked Kaleidescape Player.

It's a simple concept that has been beautifully executed. The user interface is flexible allowing users to browse their library by Title, Director, Actors, Genres even running time.

The iDyl's capability is developing all the time. New DVD management capability now allows you to browse by Genre, Actor or Director. Parental control allows you to block content that might be unsuitable for younger members of the family. New multiroom audio integration allows an iDyl to sit at the heart of a Speakercraft system with full browsing from a MODE keypad. A recent refinement has been to add browsing via the Philips TSU9600 and a functionally rich AMX interface is not too far away.
