Reference In-Ceiling Aim-Able & Frameless Speaker Speakercraft has answered your call for a less visible in-ceiling and in-wall speaker with the NEAT! design. The new NEAT! series of in-wall and in-ceiling speakers has no external flange or frame, meaning that the grille material covering the baffle and drivers leaves no additional edge between the speaker and the wall or ceiling surface. Best of all, SpeakerCraft has managed to incorporate its award-winning pivoting AIM technology into all models. Each model incorporates a sophisticated new construction bracket that with care allows the speaker to be mounted precisely into the ceiling or wall with only the smallest of gap visible between grille and the surrounding surface.
To ensure the highest level of sound quality all NEAT! in-ceiling models are based on the highly regarded AIM8 and AIM7 series models.
All models offer fully pivoting bass units, pivoting tweeter mountings and a revised WavePlane™ tweeter profile, further aiding the speaker’s phenomenal dispersion characteristics. The NEAT! 8 Five and Three models also utilise a new Accu-Grille that dramatically reduces unwanted reflections. The NEAT! 7 Five, Three and Two utilise identical driver technology to their AIM 7 equivalents. For instance, the NEAT! 7 Five incorporates a Kevlar bass driver and magnesium tweeter array. The Five and Three versions also incorporate front mounted bass and treble controls for precise in-room response tailoring. Technology within the NEAT! LCR Five and LCR Three in-wall models is based on the AIM LCR series, utilising slightly smaller drive units to create an even “neater” and more subtle appearance. In keeping with AIM design, the NEAT! LCR Five and Three incorporate both a pivoting baffle and tweeter assembly to allow the soundstage to be precisely aimed towards the listening area. Whichever model you choose and with a little care on installation, NEAT! will blend into the background like no other conventional in-wall or in-ceiling speaker.
