Speakercraft MZC-66

At the heart of the MZC66 is the EZC-1.0, widely regarded as one the most sophisticated multiroom system controllers available. Combined with the EZC-1.0 is a six-source six-zone Audio/Video controller with 12 channels of digital amplification.

Utilizing EZTools software, any button can give you the power to control one zone or the entire house. Pushing one button can set off an entire sequence of events (a macro) to select the source, to ensure all power commands are sent, IR commands issued, and all things required for total control.

The MZC-66 contains all the IR codes of the major manufacturers including a library of discrete power on/off commands. This library keeps the power status of each source component in-sync with another. For components without discrete power commands the MZC66 also incorporates two voltage-sensing modules for guaranteed power management.

When support is required for products not included within the master IR library, the optional LTM-1.0 IR capture and system testing kit provides a full IR learning facility, capable of storing virtually any IR command.

Through EZ-Tools and exclusive EZ-Codes, a single IR command from a learning remote can completely activate a zone, a home theatre system or even the entire house.

Full support is provided for telephone paging, video entry systems and doorbell muting.

Via the MZC-66, any number of zones or rooms can alert you to the presence of a visitor. A video entry system can also be automatically routed to one or more rooms.

To allow precise in-room tailoring, independent bass and treble controls are provided for each zone. When combined with pre-determined volume level settings, the MZC-66 is capable of delivering the ultimate party atmosphere throughout your home!

For larger systems, additional MZC-66 controllers can be added allowing up to 24 zones to be accommodated. The source component’s inputs and IR outputs are equipped with loop-through jacks, eliminating the need for external Y-adapters.

The MZC-66 C is supplied without keypads allowing a system to be built around the precise combination of MKP, IMKP or MODE keypads.
