This Newcastle townhouse features a multiroom audio and video system, a beautiful lighting design with Rako control and an AMX controlled cinema room in the basement. The existing building was taken right back to the original shell and painstakingly refiitted to a very high standard. Brillian worked closely with the clients and Project Manager to deliver a modern, sophisticated entertainment and house control system with very low visual impact.

Audio Video is delivered to all rooms by AMX audio/video switchers and speakers are a combination of Amina plaster in-wall speakers, Proficient ceiling speakers and high performance Genelec HT206s in the cinema.

At a technical level, all rooms have access to Virgin media, an Imerge MS5000 CD and DVD server, DAB radio and CCTV. Lighting control is via Rako which also controls the blinds and Velux windows.

Overall control of the system is through AMX with a mixture of the wireless 5200i panels and fixed Modero wall panels plus RTI T2C programmable remote controls. The photography for this project hasn't yet been done but the image to the right is a screenshot of the user interface on one of the simper programmble RTI remote controls.
